Featured Author: Susan Taylor Brown
As a child who always wrote and who always dreamed of becoming a writer, Susan Taylor Brown never met a real author. Now, through online workshops and school visits, Susan offers the chance to meet and work with a real author, as she shares her passion for writing with students and teachers alike. From “Storyparts,” an introductory writing workshop, to her “Quiet Hero” program, where children learn that not every hero has super powers, to her entertaining “Retell It as a Poem” workshop, which encourages students to write in narrative verse, Susan engages and inspires young readers and writers.
